From November 13 to 15, 2024, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit will unfold in Lima, Peru, bringing together leaders and innovators from across the globe. Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO Group and Chair of the 2023 APEC Organizing Committee, extends a warm invitation to join the APEC 2024 Silicon Valley Summit, co-hosted by the Bay Area Council and MEBO Group.
APEC’s Role in Advancing Trade, Culture, and Collaboration
In a welcoming message, Kevin Xu underscored APEC’s mission to foster economic cooperation and cultural exchange. He shared, “We believe APAC is not only a platform to promote trade, economic, and partnership; moreover, we talk about entertainment, culture, education, and whatsoever.”
Highlighting Technology and Sustainability at APEC 2024
Following the success of the 2023 APEC Silicon Valley Forum, recognized by the U.S. government, this year’s summit—part of the "APEC for People" initiative—will emphasize technology’s role in tackling global challenges. On November 9, leaders will convene in Lima to explore how innovation can drive sustainable development across the Asia-Pacific.
