The 21st ISBI Congress: Vibrant Mexico, an Academic Feast, and a Journey of Original Aspiration

From August 28 to September 1, the 21st Congress of the International Society for Burn Injuries (ISBI) was held at the Guadalajara Convention Center in Mexico. Guadalajara, Mexico's second-largest city, drew burn experts from around the world to discuss the future of burn treatment — the first ISBI congress to return to in-person format since the pandemic, showcasing the latest global research results, clinical treatment experience, and innovative technologies.

At the opening ceremony, ISBI Secretary-General Professor Ariel Miranda delivered remarks, noting that the past two years had been extraordinarily difficult for the world, yet all those devoted to the cause of burn care can overcome hard times together. ISBI President Dr. Greenhalgh emphasized that ISBI, as a leading international burn treatment organization, should promote global cooperation to comprehensively raise treatment standards — and gave heartfelt thanks to contributors, highlighting that the consistent support of pharmaceutical companies is an indispensable part of ISBI's progress. As the platinum sponsor of this and many previous congresses, MEBO Group has long been committed to growing with ISBI.

Attendees from around the world stopped to learn about MEBO's products, technology, and latest progress — including physicians already applying regenerative medical technology, and many newcomers eager to try it after witnessing its results.

ISBI President Dr. Greenhalgh also stopped by to try the ointment and thank MEBO Group for its sustained support of ISBI. As ISBI's long-term partner, MEBO Group looks forward to broader and deeper cooperation in writing a new chapter for burn treatment worldwide.
