On the morning of June 21, 2023, an important working session was held at Bay Area Council headquarters in San Francisco. MEBO Group President Li Li, Bay Area Council director Xin An, U.S.-ASEAN Business Council Chairman Ted Osius, U.S. Ambassador to ASEAN Yohannes Abraham, and the U.S. Ambassadors to Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam gathered to discuss preparations for the APEC meeting to be held in San Francisco that November.
During the talks, the ambassadors introduced the economic, trade, and diplomatic situations of their respective posts, demonstrating support and commitment to Asia-Pacific economic cooperation. Li Li presented MEBO Group's profile and its development across ASEAN countries, and U.S.-ASEAN Business Council staff expressed readiness to actively support MEBO Group's business expansion in the ASEAN region. The meeting proceeded in a warm and friendly atmosphere, reflecting a shared determination to advance regional prosperity.
ASEAN countries including Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam are important trading partners of MEBO Group with deep historical ties. MEBO has established subsidiaries in Malaysia, Thailand, and elsewhere to strengthen economic links and trade, and has brought advanced regenerative medical technology and products to the region through the UN 'Every Woman Every Child' China partnership network's Regenerative Life Action and the Belt and Road global regenerative medicine training program — training local health talent and delivering necessary relief and assistance.
