On the morning of June 4, 2019 (U.S. Eastern Time), Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO Group, took the main stage at the Clinton Foundation's CGI gathering in the U.S. Virgin Islands to witness the official announcement of MEBO Group's new training commitment in Latin America and the Caribbean: 'Regenerative Wave — MEBT Training in Latin America'.

The initiative is a broad technical training program on regenerative medical technology for burns and wounds, launched by MEBO Group in renewed partnership with the Clinton Foundation. Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton introduced the new MEBO Group project in detail and presented Kevin Xu with the commitment certificate on stage.

Under the commitment, MEBO Group will train 160 medical professionals in regenerative medical technology across Puerto Rico, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Chile, and Cuba, complemented by disaster preparedness and relief training. The earlier CGI commitment 'From Cities to Countryside: Regenerative Medical Technology Physician Training Program' had successfully trained 20,000 Chinese doctors — highly recognized by President Clinton and the Clinton Foundation — pioneering the global development of Chinese burn and wound regenerative technology.

MEBO Group has long been committed to cultivating regenerative medical experts who combine Eastern and Western medicine, and broad technical training is a vital form of the technology's internationalization. As initiator Kevin Xu noted, an international public-welfare commitment of this kind is not a simple path from here to there — it leverages international platforms to create a multiplier base for the global development of Chinese medical technology, exploring a Chinese path for public health philanthropy. He expressed the hope that more enterprises and organizations will take this road, using Chinese medical technology to confront world health challenges together.
